Why are some workshops offered with advance registration?

• Workshops with limited materials, tools, and seating capacity will be offered with pre-registration status. These are noted in class descriptions on the Presenter page and highlighted in yellow on the schedule.
• Cancellations for pre-registration classes will not be refunded after October 1, 2026. Open seats will be available on a first come-first served basis on the day of the event. No-show seats will be offered up to waiting participants.
• Some classes have limited participants but no advance registration. These are offered on a first come-first served basis.

Will there be food available onsite?

• Food will be available for purchase during Saturday’s lunch hour and Sunday from 12-6

Can I pack a picnic?

• We hope you do! We kindly ask that you pack out what you pack in as we do not have a commercial trash service.

What should I bring with me?

• Reusable plate/bowl/cup/utensils for Saturday’s community soup supper
• A lawn chair or picnic blanket
• A thrifted or upcycled t-shirt, bag, or garment for screenprinting your very own Chautauqua logo
• Water+snacks. We’ll have hydration stations onsite, but please bring what you need to take care of yourself and your family
• Dancin’ shoes, if you fancy!

Can I bring my dog?

• Please leave your pup at home during this busy weekend.

What is the refund policy?

• All advance tickets sales are final. If Chautauqua is cancelled due to inclement weather, your ticket becomes a tax-deductible contribution to Bartlett Arboretum.
• Pre-registration fees for select classes will be refunded in the case of event cancellation.
• Cancellations for pre-registered classes must be made before September 26, 2026 at midnight to receive a refund.

Will the Arboretum be open for photography sessions on October 3-4?

• Chautauqua festivities will take place throughout the entire arboretum. Non-Chautauqua visitors are welcome, but will be charged Chautauqua ticket prices.
